Fairy Pattern

I had a few people test my fairy pattern, and now I would like to make it available to all of you, for free 🙂  Please enjoy making and selling your creations with this pattern, but do not sell my pattern.  If you make this fairy, please link back to this pattern.  Thanks 🙂

Just a reminder, here is the picture:

And here is the pattern.  Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions or trouble with it.  🙂

Row 2: 2 sc in each st, around (12)

Row 3-4: sc in each st, around (12)

Change to skin color

Row 5-13: sc in each st, around (12)

Stuff lightly, FO, leaving a long tail for sewing

Skirt Petals, make 5-8 depending on how far apart you want them.

Use dress color

Row 1: In Magic Circle, 6 sc

Row 2: 2 sc in each st, around (12)

Row 3: sc in next 3 st, 2 sc in next st, around (15)

Row 4-7: sc in each st, around (15)

Row 8: sc in next 3 st, sc2tog (12)

Row 9-11: sc in each st, around (12)

FO, Leaving a long tail for sewing.  Flatten each petal and sew to the body using the loop left from the BLO row of body (Row 27).

I used the last stitch of each petal as the first stitch of the next petal.  This way there is no space between them.  If you want to leave a stitch or two between each one, then do so, but make fewer petals.  I highly recommend pinning them as you go, so you can decide what you like and how many to make.

Wings, make 2

Row 1: In Magic Circle, 6 sc

Row 2: 2 sc in each st, around (12)

Row 3: sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, around (18)

Row 4: sc in next 2 st, 2 sc in next st, around (24)

Row 5-10: sc in each st, around (24)

Row 11: sc in next 2 st, sc2tog, around (18)

Row 12-13: sc in each st, around (18)

Row 14: sc in next 4 st, sc2tog, around (15)

Row 15-17: sc in each st, around (15)

Row 18: sc in next 3 st, sc2tog, around (12)

Row 19-21: sc in each st, around (12)

FO, leaving a long tail for sewing.  Sew to back of body at an angle.

Hair – Cut strips of hair color approximately 8 inches long.  Fold each strip in half and attach to head with a sl st. You can style the hair or give it direction depending on which direction you pull your yarn through.  Also, cut the hair at the end to desired length.  Add sequins, buttons, flowers, etc. to decorate your fairy.
